HP needed a new campaign to launch its "Touchsmart" mouse-free computer.
"Touchsmart" was shot on "Red" camera then edited on Avid and finished in Smoke at digitalcore. This fast paced edit consisted of people touching the computer as the camera turned around them. To give a seamless turntable effect, the shots were composited and positioned in Smoke. Additional Roto work had to be done on both the hands and the computer. HP needed a catchy song and Joan Jett's "Touch" provided the key.
Launched worldwide, with a 60 second spot and 30 second spot, the campaign was highly successful.
