Qt DVD

The Qt DVD, for use by and avaliable through the Trolltech marketing department, is a demo tool showcasing Qt 3, a multi-platform, object-oriented, easily extensible C++ application framework. Trolltech's flagship product, Qt is well known in the open source world, and is a de facto standard on Linux. For the DVD - highlighting the features of Qt 3 in four different chapters - digitalcore provided menu creation, video and audio encoding, and DVD authoring as well as the complete off and online editorial, including 2D and 3D motion graphics. After consulting digitalcore over the various methods of distribution and exhibition necessary for multiple broadcast platforms and standards across the globe, including VHS, VideoCD and CD-ROM, trolltech chose the DVD format for operator ease of use, stability, and cost benefits.
